During which part of the year is the B&B available for rent?

Our B&B stays open all the year round.

How can I find out if it is free at a certain period?

Just send an e-mail or ring up.

Is it necessary to book in advance? How should I do it?

Booking is possible up to the last minute. First you should send an e-mail
or ring up to check availability. Having agreed on dates,
we ask you to send a deposit to confirm the reservation.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

We accept bookings even for a single night,
but in such cases an extra charge is applied.

Which are the methods of payment?

The deposit should be paid by bank transfer,
with payment of the balance in cash on arrival.

Which languages are spoken?

We speak Italian, French, English and Creole.

Is it a peaceful environment?

Although the apartment is situated in the historic centre
of Castelnuovo in Recanati, it opens onto a small private terrace.

Is parking space available?

You can park on the street in front of the house.

Where is the nearest town?

The B&B is in the historic centre of Recanati.

Where is the closest Car Rental company?

There are Car Rental companies in Recanati too.

How far is the apartment from the region’s main tourist attractions?

Recanati is only a few kilometres from the coast,
where the best beaches are marked by the “Bandiera Blu” (blue flag).
Attractive seaside resorts include Sirolo and Numana
in the province of Ancona, Porto Potenza Picena and Civitanova Marche
in the province of Macerata. Further south you will find
Porto S. Elpidio, the Lido at Fermo, Porto San Giorgio,
Grottammare, Cupra Marittima and San Benedetto del Tronto.
We also recommend Parco del Conero (Conero Park), Conero Golf Course,
along with places that feature among the “ Borghi più belli d’Italia”
(most beautiful towns of Italy), e.g. Cingoli, Matelica, San Ginesio,
Treia and Visso, and others that have earned the “Bandiera Arancione”
(orange flag, signifying exceptional beauty, cleanliness
and good organisation), e.g. Montecassiano, Montelupone,
Sarnano and Urbisaglia.

How far away is the airport, the railway station
and the nearest bus stop?

Ancona’s “Raffaello Sanzio” airport is about 45 km away,
the Porto Recanati and Loreto railway stations are 10 km away,
and the nearest city bus stop is 50 metres away.

Is the house suitable for disabled people?

Unfortunately not.
There are two steps up onto the terrace and another two at the entrance.
Moreover, the bathroom is not fitted with the necessary equipment.

Can one arrive at any time?

No. We ask for your estimated time of arrival,
even if it is only approximate (e.g. between midday and 10pm).
Please inform us of any unexpected delay, and in such cases
we will do our very best to accomodate your new time of arrival.

Does the apartment occupy part of the proprietors’ home?

No. It has its own separate entrance. The apartment
is provided with all amenities, and guests are entirely self-sufficient.

Are bed linen and towels provided, and are they included in the price?

Yes, they are provided and are included in the price.

Would it be possible to add an extra bed?

No. The maximum number of guests the apartment can accomodate
is four.

How is breakfast prepared?

Breakfast is included in the price for B&B.
On arrival you will find everything necessary to prepare it:
tea, coffee, milk, butter, jam and fruit.
Bread and cakes are home-cooked by the proprietors.
We have learnt from experience that this system is best for our guests,
who can then get up whenever they like and feel themselves at home.

Is breakfast included
when the apartment is rented as a holiday home?

No, it is not. However, we make the basic essentials available to you
in case of an emergency.

Can we ask for a reduced rent to cover a longer stay?
And, in general, are the prices negotiable?

During the low season
the apartment can always be rented at a moderate price.
In any case we suggest that you check our last-minute offers regularly: weeks that have not been booked are then advertised at a discount.
What’s more, in the low and mid-season the rent can be negotiable
according to the length of stay.

Having taken the apartment, is it ever possible to stay rent free?

Yes, it is. At certain times of year we apply the “BOGOF” principle:
you pay for some nights, and get some free.
